Avoid stress by spring cleaning your relationships

(WXYZ) - After a long winter, sometimes dust and clutter builds around the house, causing us to feel less enthused about the approaching new season.

Consider for a moment what dust and clutter can do to a relationship. When we choose not to spring-clean the inner workings of our relationships we build clutter in the form of avoidance. We find fault, criticize others, and we're often defensive when it comes to relational issues.

Just like spring-cleaning around the house, we can avoid stress by not waiting to do all of our tidying up in relationships at once. Giving regular attention to how we can improve interaction with our partners is how we extend the happy seasons.  Nneka J.
