(WXYZ) - More than 100,000 people in Michigan are living with epilepsy.
Next week, you can show your support for them by attending an annual fundraising event in Birmingham. It's the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan's "Toasting Hope” wine event .
For the third year in a row, 7 Action News anchor Alicia Smith will serve as emcee of the event.
We were joined by the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan’s President, Arlene Gorelick, on 7 Action News This Morning on 20 to talk about the event.
You can watch the entire interview in the video player above.
Toasting Hope is Thursday, September 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Townsend Hotel.
