Father's Day Brunch at Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center

Southfield, MI (WXYZ) - You can make this Father's Day special by spending some quality time with dad.

The Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center is offering a special Father's Day brunch menu.

One of the special menu items is a Veal Ragout with Mushroom Demi Glace

Ingredients

2 lbs veal cutlets

2 whole shallots

12 medium mushrooms

1 tsp fresh thyme

1 cup white wine

1 cup beef stock

How to prepare

1. Cut veal into strips 1/2" wide by 2" long

2. Sautee veal in butter until golden brown, remove from pan and set aside

3. Sautee julienned shallots and sliced mushrooms, deglaze with white wine, reduce by 1/2, add beef stock, reduce again by 1/2

4. Add veal back into pan

5. Add fresh thyme and season to taste

6. Thicken to stew consistency

7. Serve and enjoy
