Last day to register to find your DREAMJOB at Ford Field

(WXYZ) - Job seekers looking to participate in the state's largest-ever job matchmaking summit face a  fast-approaching deadline to apply online for the 1,200 jobs at Pure Michigan DREAMJOB being held in June at Ford Field.

More than 110 of the state's leading businesses will interview qualified job candidates for high-skill, high-pay positions using an innovative matchmaking format. Wednesday, April 30, is the last day to apply online to be among job seekers invited to participate.

The employers from across the state will seek to fill more than 1,200 positions through an innovative matchmaking format that pairs qualified candidates with available job openings. Each employer will be stationed in its own booth for walk-ups and will have private space for interviews with candidates who have been pre-screened for the invitation-only matchup.

Jobs will be posted to   where candidates will be able to view and apply for one or more positions. More than 1,000 job seekers have set up profiles on the website with 670 filing applications for at least one position with two weeks remaining before the application deadline.

MEDC teams will work with participating employers to pre-qualify applicants for a series of 20-minute interviews throughout the day. Once approved, candidates will receive their interview schedules. The all-day event will also include information about living in Michigan, tours of downtown work spaces, networking reception and an opportunity to attend a Tigers game.

Participating companies include Ford, Quicken Loans, Whirlpool, Bosch, Lear, Delphi, Nissan, Roush and McCann Erickson. These are among more than 110 companies seeking candidates for positions in a wide range of fields, including but not limited to: engineering, design, project management, supply chain management, finance, operations, sales, marketing and software development.
