Saks Fifth Avenue celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness Month with special night

Honoring fashion and the bravest women. Saks Fifth Avenue is celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a special night of beauty and fun.

Saks Fifth Avenue Troy will partner with the Henry Ford Health System Francee & Benson Ford Jr. Breast Care & Wellness Center and the Josephine Ford Cancer Center to host the 2011 Key To The Cure Event, a charity shopping weekend taking place Thursday, October 20 through Sunday, October 23.

To launch this year's event, Saks Fifth Avenue will once again host the popular Key To The Cure Kick-Off Party on Thursday, October 20, from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm, at Saks Fifth Avenue, Somerset Collection, Troy.

The evening features a "Girl's Night Out" of beauty and fun, with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, DJ entertainment, makeup artists, psychics, gifts, prizes -- and, of course, shopping!

Patron Tickets are $75; Friend Tickets are $55, and both ticket levels include a $50 SFA Gift Card, redeemable in Cosmetics & Fragrances on the night of the event.

Designed by Elie Tahari in soft cotton with a key-filled heart and "Where there's love, there's life" printed on the front. One hundred percent of the proceeds from each shirt sold will be donated to Entertainment Industry Foundation's Women's Cancer Research Fund, benefiting more than 50 charitable programs dedicated to finding new detection methods, better treatments and eventual cures for women's cancers.
