Denise Isaac is originally from Colón, Panamá and has always been obsessed with weather, especially thunderstorms and hurricanes.
That's why she decided to head to Florida State University where she graduated with a degree in meteorology that then took her to Washington, DC where she worked with the local Telemundo station.
Two years after, she ended up in the wilds of Minnesota where she was baptized in all things snow as a producer and reporter for WeatherNation.
Along the way, she became a member of the American Meteorological Society. In 2010, Denise worked at the #1 station in Miami, Telemundo WSCV, where she was the lead morning meteorologist for the market, and the national show Un Nuevo Dia. She also juggled those duties with weather assignments on WTVJ, Miami’s NBC affiliate.
Now, after six years in south Florida covering everything from hurricanes to tornadoes, she’s ready to dive into another Midwest weather adventure.
Denise enjoys playing sports, being adventurous, watching football and rooting on the Seminoles with her hubby.
