Since joining the team in 2011, Meghan has covered everything from the North American International Auto Show and Detroit Grand Prix to the 2012 Presidential Election on multiple platforms.

"It can definitely get a little hairy some days when I'm trying to write a breaking news story for the site, push it out on Twitter, Facebook etc. all while getting ready for a live shot - but in those moments the newsroom is electric and I love it. I wouldn't have it any other way," says Brennan.
In July of 2012, Brennan traveled to KMGH in Denver, CO to bring 7 Action News viewers the latest headlines from the Aurora movie theater shooting. That same year she gave loyal social media followers a exclusive behind-the-scenes experience when she reported from Good Morning America and LIVE! with Kelly and Michael.
Brennan and the rest of the 7 Action News digital team were the recipients of the Associated Press 'Best Website' award in 2013 plus two Society of Professional Journalists Awards for their coverage of the Woodward Dream Cruise and a series of stories uncovering corruption in Wayne County. In 2011, they won a Merit Award from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters for Best Use of New Media.
Brennan is a graduate of Michigan State University. When she's not in the newsroom, you can find her running, cycling, doing yoga or working with Detroit's homeless. She says her faith, family and friends are the driving forces in her life.
"I feel blessed to be working in the city where I grew up. It's a city I care about, a city that I truly believe is making a comeback and I want to be a part of that in every way I can."
