billejean people did live by a whole different set of morals years ago. I grew up in the 50's and 60's and it was never like this. You think it would have gotten better with all the advancements we have made. It's made things worse.

walker5868, not all departments have tasers. I do not believe Warren issues them. EQuality4ALL, they were not trespassing. According to the reports they were talking to the suspect on the front porch and the suspect ran into the house. The police were then allowed, under the law, to follow. The suspect did what is every cops nightmare and produced a weapon and use it. If it had been a firearm then the cop probably would have been hurt worse or even dead. The actions of the other police officers there showed great restraint and training. Good for them.

Her steps need to be re-traced that entire morning, all of the people she was in contact with need to be talked to, Friends, and friends of friends need to be talked to, and any school workers that may have had contact or seen her. Also, people need to be very "eye opened" for the car with this plate number. I hope that there is a national search for this car. The best chance of finding her is getting her picture out to all media outlets now! I pray your daughter is found safe and soon!

would be nice to know what store this was at...to prevent others from being assaulted! I now live in Toledo and dont go anywhere at nite without my 6'3 son or my husband. I dont need it that bad to subject myself to those types of crimes! I sugest all women get themselves some pepper spray. It could buy you some time!

With the economy as bad as it is no store can afford to hire security gaurds. If they do hire security gaurds they will pass the cost on to you, then you will whine about that. The only person that has an obligation to protect you is you. Michigan is a right to carry state, get a gun get a CPL and stop these cowards. A well armed society is a polite society

I don't think these thugs are stealing to get their mama a Christmas gift. They need money for their drug fix. Come on. Does mama want a gift that bad? During the great depression was there this kind of crime in the streets? I think not. People lived by a whole different set of morals years ago.
