BIRMINGHAM, Mich. (WXYZ) - The ladies put on their best little black dresses and the men put on their favorite suits or tuxedos for a special night out on the town to raise money for CARE House of Oakland County.
The night kicked off with people dancing to the tunes of DJ Mike Anthony, a wine tasting, and a fabulous fashion show.
Guests also tried their luck at Monte Carlo Style Casino tables.
Almost a thousand people filled the ballroom at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham for the special night.
Rick Pink of Elive Entertainment and 7 Action News Reporter Julie Banovic hosted the event.
All of the money raised went to CARE House of Oakland County. CARE House helps children who have been abused and the organization also educates to prevent child abuse. CARE House is a safe place where a child's voice is heard. It's a place where the darkness of abuse is brought into the light, where children are guided along a path of healing.
