NORTHVILLE, Mich. - Meadowbrook Country Club plays host to golfers every summer, but this week marked the annual return of perhaps the most special of outings.
Hundreds of golfers lined up for two shotgun starts to raise money for the CATCH Foundation Golf Outing on Monday.
WXYZ Sports Director Tom Leyden, Action News This Morning anchor Vic Faust, and Sports Reporter Brad Galli played in the outing.
The late Sparky Anderson started the CATCH Foundation to raise money for needy pediatric patients at Children's Hospital and Henry Ford Hospital.
The foundation helps patients who need assistance and can't otherwise afford it.
