WXYZ Detroit - Key regional issues will be front and center tomorrow morning in Mt. Clemens. The Gowaine Golf Club will be the meeting place for a Macomb Chamber of Commerce event where local business leaders will hear from elected officials about some of the most important topics facing Michigan's third largest county.
About 100 people are expected to attend this popular gathering where issues such as education finance, road funding, Medicaid expansion, no-fault insurance reform, and the New Haven landfill controversy will be addressed. The Macomb Chamber wants to engage a conversation that will lead to increased commerce, economic growth, and quality of life in one of the fastest growing areas of Southeast Michigan. Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel will join other county and state elected officials in the audience.
I will have the pleasure of moderating this question and answer leadership forum which is held twice a year. The event begins at 8:00 am. For more information, contact the Macomb County Chamber at (586) 493-7600.
