WATCH VIDEO PLAYER AT RIGHT AS SENIOR PRODUCER TOM POLK CAPTURES THE MOMENT WE TURNED OFF THE TRANSMITTERJust before 6:00 a.m., Channel 7’s Vice President and General Manager, Bob Sliva, was followed by members of the station’s engineering staff as he entered Channel 7’s transmitter room.
