WXYZ-TV/Channel 7 will pay tribute to over 250 high school seniors from throughout Southeast Michigan at a special picnic in the 28th annual celebration of the “Brightest & Best” on Saturday, May 19th.

Since 1980, the station has honored graduating seniors from public and private schools who have demonstrated excellence in academic, extracurricular and community pursuits. The program has recognized over 7,000 high school seniors in its 28-year history, making it the longest-running program of its kind in the Detroit market.
