Changing the way health care is delivered and paid for is very complex. It is estimated that Americans will spend $2.6 trillion on health care this year. At the same time, roughly 40 million are without health care coverage, some by their own choice. Legislation that would expand coverage to most Americans could cost an additional $800 billion over ten years. So is health care a right or a privilege?
Beginning Sunday night on Action News at 11pm, reporter Stephen Clark will clear the air on health care reform. For six consecutive nights, he will examine many of the critical issues contained in the pending legislation.
