Work on engineering projects involving the design and implementation of dSPACE Hardware-In-The-Loop (HIL) simulators for testing and validating automotive embedded electronics, or Electronic Control Units (ECUs). Specific focus is for HIL applications for integration testing of ECU networks for automotive OEMs. Requires Master's degree or equivalent in electrical/mechanical engineering and at least 1 year of previous experience in OEM automotive ECUs specifically in control feature characteristics, ECU and vehicle electrical architectures with perspective on system features and distribution, automotive sensors and actuators interfacing, CAN , interfacing ECUs with HIL equipment, experience with ECU test equipment, and strong knowledge of Matlab and Simulink.
