Morning Michigan, can be saved. However, they can not put all their resources in the automotive industry. I relocated to TX 2yrs ago former BIG3 employee. While I was w/ the co I attended college and obtained BBA. I didn't get caught up in the whole automotive atmosphere, as did others. I'm now attending grad school. Beleive it or not there are other avenues to take. I'm not going to knock the unions/auto workers. I come from a family of automotive workers, never worked in the plants, but I understand the work they do and I would not want to do that. There is the field of nursing_accounting among others so venture out and see what else is out there. Yes, I miss home. Yes, I get home sick and I hopefully, one day will return, but right now I working in another state, and doing ok. Yes, I still have family & friends there so I'm constantly in tune w/the going ons on MI. Too all I say keep the faith, and keep pushing on. Things will get better:)
