Mayor Fouts is looking for someone to blame for his failures. In this case it will be Detroit and General Motors for not moving the HQ to Warren. He has nothing to offer GM that they don't already have. Fouts should stick to running his failing administration and leave GM alone. Mr. Stokes, Mayor Fouts lied to you the last time he appeared on your program and he is lying to you again. He does not care about GM, all he cares about making himself look good.

I understand how Detroiters might feel to see GM HQ move to Warren. However I think its in the best interest of GM's financial viability to move where the infrastructure already exisits. Let's be honest- The Ren Cen is merely an expensive billboard for the GM logo just as Comerica Park is a billboard for their chain of banks. Saving GM as an entity itself is what's crucial. The Detroit GM autoworkers are much more dependant on GM factories remaining in operation than the location of the company's HQ. Having the research, design, development and administrative branches under one umbrella in Warren makes a whole lot of financial sense. Detroiters would be better served to see one of the most valuable properties in their city aquired by someone with a vision to see the property and surrounding environment reach its full potential. Detroiters and the region as a whole would ALL be winners.
