It's Election Day and you know what that means; drag yourself to the polls to vote! Hundreds of communities across Michigan have important local races, issues, and millages on the ballot.
These contests aren't as exciting as casting your vote for U.S. President or Michigan governor but they are just as important.
In many respects, the outcome of these races have more direct impact on your everyday life.
And if you live in Detroit, it's especially important to get out to vote. I know what you're thinking. How many races can one community endure in a given year?
Voter fatique is Detroit is real and for good reason! But the race for mayor and city council has the potential to set a new course of direction for Michigan's largest city. Everyone says they want change. Here's an opportunity to make it happen.
