Greater Christ Baptist Church of Detroit is teaming up with Walsh College for a free seminar for displaced workers.

"Making the Net Work for You: Resources and Strategies for Displaced Workers"

The free seminar is designed to provide information, insight and strategies to help workers who have lost their jobs, or who are anticipating a change in their employment status.
Participants can learn how to write or edit their resumes, Internet interviewing and application techniques and how to effectively network using the Internet.
Information will also be available on new homes for rent for low to moderate income individuals and families, food panties, social worker support, spiritual care and access to a talent and e-commerce bank.

Participants are encouraged to bring their resumes for review and assessment.
