I voted in Precinct 17, and that's exactly how it was. They apparently have too much capacity for Precinct 15, considering that it consists largely of non-residential parkland and industrial areas, with the rest being relatively low density subdivisions, and not nearly enough for Precinct 17, which is composed of densely packed apartments. It strikes me as somewhat fishy that the precincts are broken out so unevenly (population-wise) like that.

Saw the Noon news story about voter turnout at the 12 Mile in Farmington Hills location. Precinct 17, Farmington Hills at 11 Mile & Drake Rds, has very long line outside the building, cars parked up and down the main roads, and wait is said to be 2-1/2 hours. Strangely, the precinct 15, which this is also the polling place for, has no line.
