Once again back and forth about something that "IF" it were happening to you, or your next of kin there would be "NO" discussion. For the last YEAR some of you same people created funny faces, nicknames, and all types of derogatory connotations in reference to Kilpatrick. And the running joke went on until he was put behind bars. And I am absolutely sure if it were ANY BLACK JUDGE from the 36th District Court it wouldn't be ANY expense too great to get them out of office. So don't sweat it, the spot could NOT have been run if it were not TRUE !!!!!!!

doc said ' It's time for our T.V. stations to review all adds they run. This was one of the most distastfull adds that could have been run." XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXx i agree that ads need to be reviewed AND turne4d down flat for out right lies and mis conceptions...but the worst of these had nothing to do with that judge the worst were the religious ads that flat out lied about everything...these are people who worship pedophiles...please stop allowing religious ads...or remove their tax free status

Sounds like the sleeping judge not only needed a nap but he was biased in his decision. A woman loosing 5 children in a house fire should have recieved some type of restitution. He just woke up and said 'denied"???

DEAR DOCTORJIM: DID HE OR DID HE NOT FALL ASLEEP IN COURT?????. WAS THAT AN ACTOR SLEEPING IN THAT PICTURE OR WAS IT TAYLOR???? REGARDLESS OF WHO WAS AT FAULT IN THE CASE.....A JUDGE FALLING ASLEEP DURING A TRIAL OR HEARING IS INEXCUSABLE!!!!!!!

It's time for our T.V. stations to review all adds they run. This was one of the most distastfull adds that could have been run. In actuality, the ruling of the case came as it did, because the blame should have been put directly on the occupant not the landlord. A landlord cannot legally or otherwise monitor the goings within his rental property without getting a warrent to allow access when the renter refuses admition to said premisis. Wake up america, we need to have our T/V stations monitor their actions or be held liable.

Dear Ms. Hathaway, I do not know you, congatulations on your victory..Heard you this morning on an interview, claiming OBAMA was one of the chief reasons you won..... I voted for you,my reason was Cliff Taylor. His ad about being suported by State Police, sheriffs E.T.C. Judges are suppose to be impartial!!!!When the "Prosecution"is supporting you, isn't that a "conflict of inerest"???Please remember this,I voted for you,no more "Kangaroo courts"in Michigan..........

We all know that a lot of people get away with falling asleep on the job, but MOST of us would not stay employed for long if we did. Taylor was elected and paid to make informed and honorable decisions. People put their trust in him, and had a right to the best he could give. Nobody wants to be on a bus when the driver falls asleep, or on a train when the engineer nods off, or on an operating table when a surgeon is hung over or just plain exhausted. Peoples' lives and futures are on the line, and there is no excuse for that kind of failure. Judges have an awesome responsibility to the people they serve, but unfortunately ego, power trips, and their own agendas take over. Several years ago I was in a court room and the first words out of the judge's mouth when he took his seat at the bench was "I am the god of this courtroom, you are now in my world". Unbelievable!
