ROYAL OAK, Mich.(WXYZ)- With a roar of big block engines purring.. thousands of cruisers took over the streets of Royal Oak and several other communities across Metro Detroit to show off their rides as part of the 2009 Woodward Dream Cruise.
Hundreds of thousands of car lovers and enthusiasts braved the heat to ooh and ah as the classics, hot rods and muscle cars cruised down Woodward Saturday.
Many were back on Woodward Avenue bright and early Sunday morning hoping for more.
