To the seniors struggling to survive. If you own your home I would take out a reverse mortgage. You just must keep up your property taxes. This would give you money now that you would not have to pay back. If you had family who wanted your home after you died they would have to payoff or make arrangements to pay the loan. If you have worked all your life to pay off a home and are struggling with month to month needs I would do it. Many major banks offer this type of loan, I would not trust a flyer advertising this. Go to a bank in the community.

OFHAVEDear Bill,Thankyouso mich for all the wonderful work you do helping the people that just has no other way. I am moved and happy for all the seniors that are blessed with home repairs but, ttere are those of us that cannotget to Cobo hall to take part in amaybe so lottrey for home rthereepairs.I have aneed for windows and energy efficency but, the chances are remote who really cares? having been down with a myriad OF CHALLENGES,Ihave to spend the bulk of my income with DTE and even with the radiators turned off my gas bills still are unreal.every year the budget goes up and I continue to cut back even more. the house is very drafty. I am At wits end my world changed so much once Ibecame incapacited to the point of not being ab le to comb my hair. It"s all good,I"LL HOPEFULLY RISE AGAIN.The infusions are helping,I know ther is some way out there I will gett some kind of way to have a warn, neat, clean, home again.thank you again Bill for your wonderful spirit of love.

My mom is 77 years old, and has lived in her home in Detroit for over 40 years. She has a boiler furnace, and has to walk down the basement stairs twice a day to fill up the water tube every 12 hours. When she called the heating and cooling company, they informed her it would cost as much to repair it as it would to replace it because it's cracked on the inside. DOES SHE QUALIFY FOR AN EMERGENCY HOME REPAIR FOR SENIORS? She lives off of my dad's pension, which is very, very low. PLEASE HELP. I'm her daughter, Janice, and can be reached at 248.521.4321. Thanking you for any assistance you can provide.

I would love to have work on my home, But I was lied to by some one that works with and his staff! I'm the one he told me and my disabled wife he would do work on our home not one time but two times as well as leaving a message on my phone! I'm a 100% Disabled VET and what he told me he would do for us made my wife cry! think some one cared but as we found out it was just crap he was just lieing! This made us feel like we are just the little people and he got off doing this to us! I hope he felt good after the lie he told us! and yes I still have it on my phone when his told us he was coming over to do great things for us! but this is what we get for thinking MR.G would be a man of his word!? My wife cried after you Lied to her!!! MR.G knows what he did!!! We would love to have a Grant if you can help us I don't think you would lie to us like MR.G!!!

The government doesn't seem to do much for the average person. If the government would give at least a $100.000. dollars to every taxpayer and let them populate the economy they could pay their bills. This would help out everyone.
