(WXYZ) - Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick received his first visitors at the Wayne County Jail this morning. His wife, Carlita; his mother, Congresswoman Carolyn Cheeks-Kilpatrick; and his sister, Ayanna, arrived at the jail for their visits with Kilpatrick.

Today is Kilpatrick's first full day serving his jail sentence. For breakfast, he reportedly had a bagel, cereal and orange juice.
Tuesday, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge David Groner sentenced Kilpatrick to serve 120 days in jail as part of his punishment for lying under oath in a police whistleblower lawsuit.
