DETROIT (WXYZ) - Attorneys for former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick have filed an emergency motion on behalf of their client.
The motion, which was filed by Jim Thomas' firm, seeks additional travel for Kilpatrick. It comes just as media reports indicate that Kilpatrick is about to be hired by a subsidiary of Compuware. Kilpatrick traveled to Dallas for a job interview last week.
The motion is filed in the court of Judge David Groner.
