Kwame's 4th amendment rights (the right against illegal search and seizure) were violated in pursuit of a crime millions of married people are guilty of namely, marital infidelity. An over the top conviction for perjury (a crime rarely adjudicated) that wasted even more tax payer money was conducted. Also, the fact that text messages can be retrieved years after they have been sent, be presented to a kangaroo court and then purposefully released to the media for all the world to see doesn't seem to bother anyone? The document we are all supposed to hold so dear has been fractured in two. Privacy laws have been ignored. This proves that purient interests and scandal trump the constitution and justice in our society and our legal system is a sham and tool of the monied, powerful and wicked in America. In addition, if President Clinton didn't have to leave office and do jail time for committing the same crime as Kwame why did Kwame have to leave office and serve a jail sentence? What's the difference in these two Men's crimes versus their treatment for the same crime? The only difference I can see is RACE...RACE MATTERS!

No Way should he be permitted to travel or leave the state. No other felon would get this priveledge. Just think we'll be having to pay extradition charges to get him back when they come out with the other crap he's involved in. Let him spend his time in MI like anyone else. wait till he starts lying, cheating and stealing working for Peter K. I used to have a lot of respect for Peter K and what he has done promoting Detroit and what Compuware had done with youth hockey but no more. How can he even think of supporting a felon. Will definately be on an anti Compuware campaign.

For his own safety make him stay in Detroit. In the real BIG D aka DALLAS he'll get his AZZ kicked. Make his coney island eating AZZ start off as a manager of one of the STRIP CLUBS on 8 MILE. He can hire Christine Beatty. She can dance, strip , and whore to pay off her debt to the city.

While I, personally, would like nothing more than to see him leave....for good, I also believe that he owes Detroit. He has cost this city dearly. Let's not forget the officers who weren't so fortunate to "land" a job with Peter Karmanos, let's not forget there's a slight debt he owes, let's not forget there's a family who would love nothing more that to allow their daughter (Tammy Greene) to rest peacefully, let's not forget he's on probation. When do ANY laws apply to him? Good thing he had no preferential treatment. Warren Evans, outstanding job!!!! You showed him that you were a force to be reckoned with!!! There was no bullying you around...no way! You stood your ground (insert eye roll!)! You guys should do lunch to celebrate!!!! Maybe Fishbones!!! The only one in this comedy of errors who had any BALLS whatsoever was Kym Worthy!!!!!! Why waste one more tax dollar for cash strapped Detroit. Why bother?? Kwame Kilpatrick and his list of usual suspects are above the law. We need to accept this. The best thing we, as a city, could do is to put our film crews away and never show up for his further antics (and we KNOW there will be many). Let's start showing real news. Kwame is yesterday's news! God Bless you Dallas. He's all yours. Just one question Kwame, how do you sleep at night? God have mercy on you. And God save Detroit. And you claimed to "love" Detroit, Jesus, I'd hate to see if you hated the place!!! Bye Kwame..it's time you pack up, grab a ONE WAY TICKET TO HELL and catch the first flight outta here!

No way, let him try and find a job here. He can pick up trash off the streets of the city he claimed to love so much. What about community service, other felons are doing garbage duty why not KK too. The 99 days in jail was in no way proper punishment for the crimes committed.

He trashed the city and is running with the help of his buddy Peter Karmanos. He will of course get away with it.

Heck yes give him permission to travel, they should give him "permission" to make it a one way trip! Let TX keep him.

If I where the judge I would make the SOB commute to and from Dallas every day. Maybe Peter could supply him with the corporate jet if he is such an asset.
