The official government program is a worse scam. ~~~ I gave my son my old 1996 Ford Explorer. He now has a child and would like to buy a new car. According to the Govmint' it's rated at 16mpg, so doesn't qualify. I thought it was evil gas guzzler's Commissar Obama wanted off the market? ~~~ This is nothing more than UAW payback.
