COMMERCE TWP., Mich. (WXYZ) - Long lines of people are waiting to get the H1N1 vaccination at a flu clinic in Oakland County.
Working with Walled Lake Consolidated Schools, the Oakland County Health Division is holding a clinic Thursday, October 29 from 3:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Geisler Middle School.
The school is located at 46720 West Pontiac Trail, Commerce Township, MI 48390
Initial supplies of the H1N1 vaccine are limited which means you must be a part of the target population to receive this vaccine at this time. Here is who qualifies:
- Pregnant women
- Children and young adults 6 months through 24 years of age
- Caregivers for children under 6 months of age
- Adults 25 through 64 years of age with underlying medical conditions
- Healthcare and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) workers
