ROCHESTER, Mich. (WXYZ) - Hollywood is back in metro Detroit, and two Action News anchors have landed roles!
The movie "Highland Park" stars actors Danny Glover and Parker Posey.
Thursday, Posey was shooting scenes at Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester. She plays the mayor of Highland Park in the film, which is about a modest man who wins the lottery.
Action News anchors Diana Lewis and Vic Faust have speaking roles in the movie, and the two roped Action News reporter Peggy Agar into playing an extra.
Celebrities are not only on camera, but behind the scenes as well. Julia Roberts' husband Danny Moder is the director of photography. The director of the film is Andrew Meieran.
