(WXYZ) - Electrolux Home Products is recalling about 900 Electrolux ICON and Kenmore 30-inch PRO gas ranges because an incorrect part was used in their manufacture.
The company says the part can let more gas than is safe into the oven, raising the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. So far there have been four incidents reported, but no one has been injured.
The recalled ranges were sold at appliance retailers nationwide from August 2008 through October 2009. You can call (888) 360-8557 or (800) 733-2299 for more information.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission can also provide you with details.
