(WXYZ) - A volunteer-driven organization that helps lost and abandoned dogs was targeted by thieves who robbed the group of all of its field equipment.
WATCH THE REPORT IN THE VIDEO PLAYER ON THE RIGHTThe group is called Home Fur Ever, and its van and trailer loaded with crates, supplies, food, treats and donation boxes full of money were taken. Also inside were tents, chairs, and cleaning supplies.
The Troy Petco at 1217 Coolidge will be accepting donations of food and crates to help Home Fur Ever continue its volunteer efforts.
