Alert: 21 Types of Children's Tylenol Recalled

(WXYZ) - McNeil Consumer Healthcare is recalling an unknown amount of 21 different types of Children's and Infants' Tylenol because of a possible bacterial contamination.

The Tylenol in question was manufactured between April 2008 and June 2008. McNeil says the bacteria was found in an inactive ingredient, but it was not found in any of the finished product.

The recall applies only to select lots of the following Children's and Infants' Tylenol liquid products. You can get the complete list by downloading the .pdf about the recall posted with this article.

The recall affects only certain lot numbers of the above products. Consumers can find the lot numbers on the bottom of the box containing the product and also on the sticker that surrounds the product bottle.

If you believe you have given your child one of the products included in the list, McNeil recommends you contact your health care provider.
