(WXYZ) - Mars Snackfood US is recalling an entire lot of its Dove Caramel Pecan Perfection ice cream because it may contain peanuts that are not listed on the label.
The recall only affects lot number 931AB5YN07. The company says it is safe for customers who may have purchased the ice cream, but do not have a peanut allergy or sensitivity. The ice cream was sold in a number of states, including Michigan and Ohio.
If you bought some of the affected product, you can return it to the store for a full refund. You can call (800) 551-0895 between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday with any questions.
