To celebrate their Southfield grand opening, Café Kabob Mediterranean Grille & Catering is giving back to the community.
Ten percent of sales before taxes all day on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29 will go to community charities that comprise the 2008 Southfield Sports Festival, including the Ambassador’s Clubs of America, Southfield Youth Organization, Southfield Parks and Rec, Southfield Youth Soccer League and the Southfield Lathrup Optimists.

Chicken Sautee
1 – 2 cooked chicken breast
2 tsp. extra-virgin olive oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. minced garlic
½ tsp. cajun
½ tsp. black pepper
1 C. fresh cut mushrooms
¼ cup lemon juice
¼ cup chopped parsley
Heat the oil in a medium nonstick skillet over high heat. Add mushrooms; cook and stir for two minutes. Add spices, garlic and lemon juice and stir. Add cooked chicken and cover for 2-3 minutes. Add parsley to taste. Remove from heat and enjoy.
