Southern Chess Pie

SOUTHERN CHESS PIE

3 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornmeal
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla
5 tablespoons milk
1 stick melted butter (or margarine)
1 unbaked pie crust

Beat eggs first with wire whisk, mixer, or vigorously with fork, mix in vanilla, milk and vinegar well, then blend in cornmeal.
Mix well. Thoroughly blend in melted butter last and pour into unbaked pie crust.
Bake @350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
