To help seniors fight the cold this winter, the City of Detroit Senior Citizens Department will hold a blanket drive and silent auction Wednesday, November 4 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. at the Northwest Activities Center, 18100 Meyers Rd.
The blankets will be distributed to homebound seniors throughout the holiday season.
All donations collected at the event will be used for senior programming.
