Christine Looney plays field hockey at Novi High School. She also volunteers as a manger of the track team.
Christine said field hockey is an aggressive sport, but is also fun and team oriented.
She played soccer in elementary and middle school and then transitioned to field hockey because it has similar rules.
Coach Amy Kilgore said Christine, the senior tri-captain, is an excellent leader by example.
Christine is interested in studying biomedical engineering and would like to go to medical school with a focus on oncology.
When she's not on the hockey field, Christine volunteers her time making chemo caps through a program at school.
