Allison Littlejohn participates in swimming and water polo at Saline High School.
She was invited to participate in pre-Olympic team training and had the opportunity to try out for the national Olympic team.
Water polo coach Brad Silverman said Allison has the best chance at the Olympics out of all the water polo players at Saline. He said Allison has a great sense of the game and what her teammates need from her. Being able to communicate and keep her teammates excited for the game is what she does best.
Allison said it's a challenge to balance her academics and time in the pool, but has learned to cope with the stress and has been able to keep her grades up.
