Michigan Stadium To Host Spring Football Game

Last Update: 1/07 3:15 pm
ANN ARBOR – The University of Michigan football team will hold its annual spring game on Saturday, April 11, at Michigan Stadium. The final practice is open to the public and will be held at a time yet to be determined.

“We appreciate the effort of the construction crew to make the facility available to us and we hope that a large crowd will be able to attend,” said head coach Rich Rodriguez. “The opportunity to practice at the stadium and in front of fans is extremely valuable for our players.”

Michigan Stadium is in the midst of a $226 million year-round renovation but will be available to the Wolverines for this year’s final spring practice. Last year, U-M held its final practice at Saline High School because the bleachers and concourse area was not usable by the general public.

Michigan begins spring drills on Saturday, March 14.
