6 to 10 Inches of Snow Expected

Last Update: 2/09 9:01 am
(WXYZ) - There's a Winter Storm Warning from 10 a.m. today to 10 a.m. tomorrow.

Snow increases today with 2"-4" on the ground by 7 p.m. this evening. Heavy snow overnight for all areas.

By mid-morning tomorrow the totals will be heaviest around the metro area and to the south.

Late tonight and through tomorrow the wind will be strong from the northeast and turn to the northwest at 15-30 mph. Blowing and drifting snow will be a problem and the roads will stay slippery because of the wind pushing the snow across them and creating a glaze.
