ALERT: Severe Weather Slams Metro Detroit

(WXYZ) -  Severe weather swept through metro Detroit setting off thunderstorm warnings and other alerts.

Strong winds knocked over trees and downed wires causing major damage all over the area.

All of southeast Michigan has been placed under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 10:00 p.m.
