Mall Shoppers Whisked Away to Safety

Last Update: 6/26 9:33 am
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - Severe storms moving through Macomb County forced Partridge Creek Mall in Clinton Township to move customers to safety.

Channel 7 producer Janelle Long reports that customers were taken to a hallway that connects all of the stores of the outdoor mall and asked not to leave.

They were advised to stay indoors, but were allowed to leave a short time later.

There are reports that Partridge Creek Mall in Clinton Township is without power.

Long also reports that there are wires and trees down along Hall Road.

Action News crews are on the way to the scene. We'll pass along details as they become available.
