Monday Afternoon: Hazy Sun With Increasing Clouds, Breezy & Very Mild - Highs: 65 to 70
With virtually no change in the air mass over Southeast Michigan, and a stronger wind from the southwest developing on Monday...we are in store for one more round of unseasonably warm highs in the mid to upper 60s. Haze and areas of fog should developquickly after midnight, with locally dense areas to commute through before 9am Monday morning. Temperatures should once again quickly warm into the 60s by lunch time, and highs will range from the mid 60s northwest of Detroit...to near 70 in the city andsouthward. The arrival of cold front Monday night and Tuesday should trigger some showers, and maybe a rumble of thunder...with the precipitation marking the end of our latest round of Indian Summer. After a more November-like setting on Veteran's Dayhighs in the lower 50s), the weather pattern turns sharply warmer towards next weekend. Highs near 60 as early as Thursday, with mid to upper 60s looking likely both Friday and Saturday now...which is the biggest change to the long-range outlook. Afterlouds and showers Tuesday, we are in for a string of sunshine that should last through the first half of next weekend. Have a great week!
