FERNDALE, MICH. (WXYZ) - Camp Casey Fest is set to rock downtown Ferndale on Saturday, October 15, 2011, with 12 hours of live music capped off by a headlining performance by Josh Gracin.
Other acts scheduled to appear include Annabelle Road, John Maison, Gunnar & The Grizzly Boys and more. More than just a music festival, Camp Casey Fest will feature a chili cook-off, awesome arts and crafts vendors, great grub from local restaurants and big screen TVs broadcasting the U of M vs. MSU football game.
Tickets are only $10 if purchased in advance ($15 at the door after 5 pm); kids 10 and under free with a ticketed adult. 100% of ticket sales benefit Camp Casey, a horseback riding program for kids with cancer in Michigan.
Camp Casey Fest kicks off at 11 a.m. on East Nine Mile at Woodward Avenue in Ferndale, Michigan. An official after-party is being hosted by Rosie O’Grady’s in Ferndale starting at 11 p.m. Presenting sponsors of Camp Casey Fest include McDonald’s, Panera Bread, Rosie O’Grady’s and blugray creative.
