Funeral arrangements set for former WXYZ-TV reporter Jim Herrington

(WXYZ) - The family of former WXYZ-TV reporter Jim Herrington has finalized his funeral arrangements.
Jim died Thursday of complications of Rheumatoid Arthritis.
The funeral will be Sunday, January 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Temple Beth Israel of Longboat Key, Florida.
A Detroit Memorial Service has been set for Sunday, January 27 at 3:00 p.m. at Temple Kol Ami. That's located at 5085 Walnut Lake Road in West Bloomfield Township.
In lieu of flowers, Jim's family asks that donations be made to the following organizations, institutions and charities that he was passionate about.
- Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida
- William Fyfe Fund at Northwestern University
- Racquet Up Detroit
- Nature Conservancy
