(WXYZ) - Fresh from Parris Island, Pfc. Andrew Sandomierski from Clinton Township talked about his experiences and the intense training that every new Marine recruit goes through.
He sat down with our Malcom Maddox, who also served in the Corps.
He says though people can get a general grasp of what goes on, words can't truly describe what happens. These experiences help fuel the feeling of brotherhood amongst all Corps members.
He also took the time to explain a clip of marine training--explaining exactly what was happening during the intense scene.
His training is far from over. He'll be off to the Marine Corps School of Infantry to further develop his skills.
