New book describes fictional transformation of island in the Detroit River

(WXYZ) - '“Belle Isle: Detroit’s Game Changer”Belle Isle" is a new book by senior housing developer Rod Lockwood.
The fictional story is about the transformation of a real 982-acre uninhabited island in the Detroit River into a glittering American commonwealth.
Lockwood stopped by Broadcast House to talk about his new book.
