ECORSE, Mich. (WXYZ) - Hundreds came out to Ecorse hoping to land one of 17 roles in the movie “Brutality.”  The movie is about a family man who has a great family when something tragic happens in his life, and his whole world is turned upside to down.

Pastor Marvin Miles is the executive producer teaming up with actor Tommy “Tiny” Lister and director Demitrius Navarro.

Today was the first casting call but they scoped out talent Friday night at a local theater production.

About 200 people showed up hoping to make it to the big screen.

The production will take place entirely in Michigan from casting to shooting.

“Brutality” is expected to be released by early next year.
