(WXYZ) - Executive chef Hai Ying from Prime29 steakhouse in West Bloomfield stopped by Broadcast House to show 7 Action News viewers how to prepare an incredible Filet Mignon.

Filet Mignon
1 8 ounce Filet (ours is aged at least 29 days)
2 ounces of yellow peppers
2 ounces of red peppers
2 ounces of white onions
2 ounces of cherry tomatoes
1 T chopped garlic
2 T paprika
1/2 T salt
1 t white pepper
1 T cumin
Small amount of olive oil in each pan
1 piece of pita bread
Directions
In one sauté pan and on medium heat, place peppers, onion, tomatoes, garlic and olive oil and sauté for 3 minutes. . Shut burner off and cover to keep warm.
In other sauté pan over medium to high heat, place 8 ounce filet in sauté pan and add paprika, salt, white pepper and cumin and cook for 3 minutes on each side. Then remove and place in oven for 10 minutes at 425.
When done, remove vegetables from sauté pan and plate and then place filet over vegetables.
