Saks Fifth Avenue Somerset Collection to host premiere fall fashion event

TROY, MICH (WXYZ) - Saks Fifth Avenue is once again teaming up with the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit to present Saks Blast.

The premiere fall fashion event will be held at the Saks Fifth Avenue Somerset Collection location in Troy, on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 6:30 p.m.  Heading up the guest list is designer Naeem Khan, who is slated to make a personal appearance with selections from his Fall & Resort Collections.

SAKS BLAST will also be celebrating the debut of 10022-SHOE in it's Troy store.  Saks Fifth Avenue’s completely renovated and expanded new address for women’s shoes -- a mirror image of our 10022-SHOE Flagship destination in New York, which is so extensive it has its own zip code – 10022!  Also included will be a sneak peek of our entirely refurbished First Floor, premiering a new Cartier Boutique, new Chanel Boutique and New Louis Vuitton Boutique, as well as sweeping upgrade of our Beauty, Handbag & Accessory Shops.
